AI ELM — Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-10-16
Who we are
AI ELM (the app, the website aielm.online and its server) is published by Netesa Oleksandr. Contact: +48 453 457 668. By using the app you accept these terms. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where it conflicts with these terms, it prevails for the App Store version.
What the app does and does not do
The app reads diagnostic data from your car through an OBD-II adapter that you connect yourself: fault codes, engine parameters and test results, and can clear fault codes on your command.
Readings, code descriptions, estimates and AI conclusions are information to help you, not a diagnosis and not a substitute for an inspection at a service. They can be incomplete or wrong: the data depends on your car and adapter, and AI can make mistakes. Decisions about repairs, purchases and the safety of the car are yours.
Clearing codes also clears the check engine lamp, the freeze frame and the readiness monitors. Do it only when you know why. Do not operate the phone while driving: start a recording before you set off.
Credits, subscription and purchases
Some actions, such as an AI analysis, cost credits. Credits are bought, received with a subscription or for watching a rewarded video. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred, and are used up when the action is performed. Prices in credits are shown in the app before you pay.
The subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel it. Cancel it where you bought it — in Google Play, in your Apple ID settings or on our website — at least 24 hours before the end of the period; it then stays active until the end of the period that was paid for.
Purchases in the app are processed by Google Play or the App Store under their terms, including refunds. Purchases on the website are processed by Stripe; for a refund, write to +48 453 457 668.
Credits are digital content delivered at once. By buying them you ask for them to be delivered immediately and accept that the statutory right of withdrawal ends once they are delivered. Your other rights as a consumer are not affected.
A seller's promo code gives a discount on purchases where the app or website shows it.
Partner program
A seller who joins on the website (aielm.online/partners) chooses a promo code. Buyers who enter it get the discount shown on that page, and the seller gets the share shown there of the subscription payments of those buyers, for the period shown there from each buyer's first payment. Credit packs and ads do not count.
The share is counted from what the buyer paid, as the store or Stripe reports it; refunded payments do not count. How and when the money is paid out is agreed with the seller by e-mail; the seller is responsible for their own taxes on it. A seller cannot earn from their own purchases.
We may change the terms for new payments with notice by e-mail, and may close a seller's code if it is misused (spam, misleading advertising, self-referral); buyers already brought stay with the seller.
Your account
The app creates an anonymous account for credits and purchases; signing in with e-mail, Google or Apple is optional. You can delete the data on the server at any time (About → Delete my data); unused credits are then lost. How we treat your data is described in the privacy policy.
Fair use
Do not misuse the service: no automated or bulk requests to the server, no attempts to get credits or features without paying for them, no interference with the service or other users. We may suspend an account that does this.
Availability and liability
The app works without the internet; the AI analysis, purchases and synchronisation need our server and its providers, which may sometimes be unavailable. We do not charge credits for an analysis that failed.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damage caused by using the readings or conclusions, by clearing codes or by the adapter. Liability that cannot be limited by law — for intent, gross negligence or harm to life and health — is not limited.
Changes and applicable law
We may change these terms; the date above shows the current version, and important changes are announced in the app. The law of Poland applies; if you are a consumer, the mandatory protection of the law of your country remains.
